Alan Weekes

BIOGRAPHY

Songwriter/Producer/Arranger/ and guitarist extraordinaire, Alan Weekes, has been an integral part of the Britain's Reggae, Lovers Rock and Jazz scenes since 1975. His numerous recording session credits include the likes of Alan Glass, Ashley Slater's Big lounge, Art Blakey, Sandra Cross, Aswad, Byron Wallen, Bob Andy, The Bays, Luciano, Joss Stone, Sugar Minott and Carrol Thompson. A former member of Jazz Jamaica, he can still be found on any given night plying his trade one minute as part of a Jazz ensemble and the next contributing to a Grammy worthy session or as part of a musical (The Harder They Come).
