Swashii is a multifaceted recording artiste and songwriter with an artistic edge in constructing ingenious lyrical content mixed with great musical timing in his deliveries. He is geared towards making his fresh sound a new trend in dancehall music as he blends Reggae, Dancehall and other music genres to create his signature sound. Swashii, whose given name is Travis Reader, was born in the parish of Kingston He was heavily influenced by the Dancehall culture he grew up in and the various music art forms he was exposed to. All have contributed to creating the sensational and complete artistic product he is today. Swashii is blessed with a sweet, compelling vocal timbre which is enhanced greatly by his creative power and artistry with lyrics, style, melodies, mixing genres, good musical timing and of course the use of his Jamaican dialect and popular slangs to engage his audience. BIOGRAPHY He is best known for his hit single 'LOL/ that created a huge wave in the music industry, getting airplays right across the local market. He has released a myriad of singles in recent years to include My Rules’, Still A Wear’, ‘Dread and Turble’, ‘The Story’, ‘Look Wi Hard’ ft. Harry Toddler, ‘High Grade’, ‘Body Bag’, ‘Hungry and Desperate’, ‘What Must Be’, ‘Inna Body’, ‘420’ and ‘Progress’. One of his latest tracks ‘Mankind’ produced by Sammy Ranks Music is currently blazing the airwaves and looks poised to make a major disruption on the music scene. His latest project was his reggae album called ‘Years2Come’ which was produced by German producer, Marius, owner of Culturerock label and released in 2022. He is currently working in studio on collaborations and singles with multiple producers, in pursuit of finding the formula for a gargantuan and memorable hit.
