SHALOM'S BIOGRAPHY
Stephen Omar Harper is a Jamaican Reggae vocalist , song
writer and performer who believes in peace and love. He is a
devoted father ,husband and follower of Christ who works
consistently to create and share good music globally. He has
created and released six (6) studio albums since he became a
professional recording artist.
Sugar Minott was the motivation and catalyst who inspired
Shalom’s growth in the music industry.
However is big breakthrough came about when he recorded
for producer Phil Mathias , a song entitled " News For You ", the
song was a giant hit song and it spent fourteen weeks (14) at
number one (#1) on the charts in Jamaica ,entered the BBC
Chart at number (#64) and went to number one (#1) on the
Black Echo’s Chart in England and number (#1) in Malawi
Africa.
Shalom have toured the USA extensively in his career with
artist such as Sean Paul, Beenie Man , Bounty Killer, Tony
Rebel ,Beres Hammond etc. Shalom’s latest project is his
latest studio album entitled " TAILOR MADE".
Shalom has performed on some of the largest events in
Jamaica namely " Reggae Sumfest ,Sting ,Rebel Salute
,Saddle to the East and many more.
