BIOGRAPHY
Long before Freddie's son Stephen was dubbed a Genius, London had a quiet spoken music maestro dilligently knocking up classics for the likes of Don Ricardo, Red Rat and Kele Le Rock. Curtis Lynch Jr was his name and his undeniable talents were well saught after by major record company's seek ing a touch of his Reggae magic which would see Curtis remixing tracks for a plethora of artists including Shola Ama, The Gorillaz, and Alicia Keys.
Seeking a vehicle to showcase his productions free of the constraints of major labels, he set up Necessary Mayhem launched in April 2006. Artists on his roster include, Mr Williamz, Blackout UK, & YT.
Now dubbed as the UK's answer to King Jammys, Curtis Lynch Jr now regularly works with some of the biggest Reggae artists in the world including the likes of Etana, Tippa Irie, Yellowman, Brinsley Forde formerly of Aswad, and legendary producer, Gussie Clarke
Influenced by legendary producers like Coxsone Dodd, King Jammys and Gussie Clarke, Curtis Lynch Jr is a name that is well on the way to joining those aforementioned inspirations as legendary in his own right as his productions and sound continue to spread across the globe.
